ABOUT ME

PERSONAL INFOS

Hello! My name is Vidit Baluni and I am an 18 year old student-athlete from New Delhi, India. I started playing soccer at the age of 9 and never looked back since then. The love for the sport deepened each time I played it. My family supported me a lot with my soccer, but also guided me to put equal - if not more - emphasis on my academics. By the time I was 14, I had started living a life of a student-athlete without knowing the word’s existence. Shuttling between the field and the classroom became my daily chore.

EXPERIENCE,
ACADEMICS
& GOAL

I graduated high school from Air Force Bal Bharati School, New Delhi, in the summer of 2020. I now look forward to continue my soccer career and academics in 2021 at Rochester Institute of Technology, New York.

Along with balancing the above two, I started to learn about Graphic Designing and Numerology during my summer holidays and free time. My father, one of the top Numerologists in India and an experienced Graphic Designer, taught me from his experience in these fields. Ancestral values, Vedik Krishi, Vaastu Sashtra, Shankya-Jyotish (Indian Numerology), and Poojan Karmkand are in our family DNA and my father is deep rooted to all these occult sciences; I am currently learning about these subjects from him as well.

My goals include becoming an elite soccer player playing at the highest level possible making myself, my family, and my nation proud. I also plan to take my father’s consultancy business incorporating Numerology, Vaastu and other sciences to a global level.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Which professional player would I compare myself to? Which player inspires me?

The professional player I look up to is Luka Modric of Real Madrid. His ability to feint players under pressure is very alluring. I don’t compare myself to Modric though. I believe that every player is unique and comparisons should be used to set goals and gain motivation only.
How would I describe my attitude and mentality?

I have a rigid mentality; once I decide to do something, I never shift my focus until I achieve that goal. My attitude varies for people and soccer. For people, I see everyone superior to myself in some way, and I try to learn from them. For Soccer, I consider that I can be the best on the pitch at that very moment and give a hundred percent in every match.
What are your strengths as a player?

I believe my long range shooting/passing and the ability to use both feet equally well helps in the field of play.
How would I describe my personality off the field?

Off the field, my personality is contingent to how I categorise the task I am doing according to its priority. For example, I would be an extrovert if the work I am doing interests me and an introvert when I believe that the work I am into is pointless.
